New Zealand Textile Arts Hit the UK Crowd Funding Campaign

Over the past few months I have been drawing together a group of (nearly) 20 contemporary textile artists who are working in New Zealand with the aim of getting their work shown at the Knitting and Stitching Shows in the UK starting at Alexandra Palace from 7 - 11 October, then in Dublin (at the RDS) from 12 - 15 November and finally in Harrogate (at the International Conference Centre) from 26 - 29 November.
This has been a pretty long gestation, but the date is now close and we are in the final stages of organising (for me), making (for some) and fundraising (for us all). We were sadly refused a grant through CreativeNZ, but thanks to an organisation called Boosted in NZ we are able to run a crowd funding campaign this month to help us to cover some of the costs of the transport.
We need to reach our target to receive any funds at all, but if we reach or exceed it, we can give a real help to the artists who have given their commitment to be a part of the exhibition.
What I would love is for you to have a look at the campaign, keep in touch witht he daily updates and artist stories, share it through your networks and even (!) add a donation of your own.
Then, for those of you who can get to the shows, come to see the exhibition and say hello.

Here is where to go: Boosted Campaign

Thanks so much.
